Rescue efforts at Papua New Guinea's landslide face great challenges


Papua New Guinea's massive landslide on May 24 buried more than 2,000 people. Treacherous terrain and the risk of further slips make rescue efforts more difficult. Papua New Guinea is evacuating an estimated 7,900 people from villages near the site of the landslide, a top provincial official said on May 28.
