At Tsinghua University, we talked with three students from different academic backgrounds – Anais Fernandez-Laaksonen, Evelina Wu and Zhao Ziqing. They shared their insights and practical experiences in tea and coffee culture. Anais is a computer science student from Finland with a keen interest in tea. Evelina shared her experience with Chinese tea, making an interesting cultural comparison between tea and coffee. She said that although tea and coffee have different flavors and brewing methods, they are both integral to people's lives. Zhao Ziqing is the master of the Tsinghua Coffee Club, and he has just organized a wonderful hand-brewed coffee competition. Through their lenses, we see a different Tsinghua, a place where cultures meet with vigor and creativity. For more details, please check out the program.
