Bahrain launched its first direct flight to China, a civil air flight from Bahrain International Airport to Shanghai Pudong International Airport, on Tuesday, May 28.
As planned, Bahrain's national carrier, Gulf Air, will also open direct flights from the island country to Guangzhou, the capital of south China's Guangdong Province, on Wednesday.
After that, direct flights will be operated daily between the two countries, with flights to Shanghai scheduled for every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Meanwhile, direct flights to Guangzhou will take place every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
