Roughly one quarter of Malaysia's population are of ethnic Chinese origins and they continue to enthusiastically follow many of the cultural practices of their ancestors. Lim Meng Kok, 76, is a master of lion head making. He has been making lion heads for 40 years and has passed this craft on to the next generation of Malaysians. Lion head making is also one of the bridges between the people of China and Malaysia.
