Chinese President Xi Jinping held talks with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in Beijing on Wednesday. Noting that Egypt was the first Arab and African country to establish diplomatic relationship with the People's Republic of China 68 years ago, Xi said the two countries have always trusted each other, cooperated sincerely and worked hand in hand for development no matter how the international situation has changed. "Under the new circumstances, building a more substantive and dynamic China-Egypt relationship aligns with the common expectations of the two peoples," Xi said.
