Located in Fujian Province, the Fuyu tulou is unlike typical tulou that are either round or square in shape. Fuyu tulou boasts a unique layout with the front lower than the back and consisting of three sections and two courtyards. Raised in tulou, its young owner Lin Jianwen enjoyed a carefree childhood and learned to appreciate the peaceful, slower pace of life within its walls. Today, he has renovated the Fuyu tulou, preserving its antique furniture and floor plan, and invites visitors to experience the serene lifestyle of the past century. In this way, he hopes to keep the spirit of the tulou alive.
