Education exchanges between China and Malaysia are becoming increasingly popular among students from both countries. Today, there are approximately 40,000 students from China studying in Malaysia.
CGTN's Chen Tong visited Xiamen University Malaysia, the first overseas campus for any Chinese university, while Bernama's Nur Liyana Zulkifli was in Huaqiao University in Quanzhou, Fujian Province, to explore just how far education ties have come over the past 50 years, as both countries celebrate half a decade of friendship this year.
