India held their first training session since their arrival in New York on Wednesday ahead of the T20 World Cup.

Players arrived in New York in dribs and drabs but without star player Virat Kohli, who is expected to follow soon.

Captain Rohit Sharma, coach Rahul Dravid, vice-captain Hardik Pandya, Suryakumar Yadav, Rishab Pant and Jasprit Bumrah were seen stretching during the session.

India will play Bangladesh in a warm up match on Saturday before starting their World Cup campaign with a match against Ireland on June 5.
