Over 2,000 people are estimated to have died in the recent landslide in Papua New Guinea, Prime Minister James Marape said on May 29. CGTN visited the scene of the disaster. Villagers in the area are actively organizing themselves to rescue those buried under the mud, which is progressing gradually.
