Some 200 representatives from the Taiwan region have concluded a three-day exchange tour in China's southern province of Guangdong.

They explored key landmarks in the coastal city of Zhuhai, showcasing China's advancements in aerospace, defense technology and infrastructure.

Reunification advocates believe that social media can provide a more positive and truthful narrative of the mainland. Some have criticized the Taiwan region's authorities for "pro-independence" indoctrination.

Standing on the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, many delegates from the Taiwan region envision a future where seamless travel into the mainland would be possible.
