Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Ma Zhaoxu said China-U.S. relations are in a critical period for maintaining stability and avoiding deterioration. He urged the U.S. to work with China to bring relations back on track. Ma made the remarks after meeting with U.S. officials in Washington.
