Rescuers affiliated with Lebanon's Hezbollah group said one medic was killed and another wounded on Friday in an Israeli strike on one of their ambulances in the border town of Naqoura in south Lebanon, AFP reported.
There has been no immediate response from Israel on the strike.
Tensions along the Lebanon-Israel border escalated on October 8 of last year following a barrage of rockets launched by Hezbollah towards Israel, in solidarity with Hamas' attack on Israel the day before. Israel then retaliated by firing heavy artillery towards southeastern Lebanon.
