The Republic of Korea (ROK) warned the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) on Friday it would take measures that Pyongyang would find hard to endure if it continues to commit "irrational" provocations, such as sending balloons carrying filthy trash and jamming GPS signals near the border.

The warning was made in a statement issued by the ROK's Unification Ministry.
