The European Union on Friday imposed sanctions on six Iranian individuals and three Iranian entities, blaming them for the transfer of drones and missiles to Russia, as well as to other armed groups and entities that are "undermining peace and security in the Middle East and the Red Sea region."
Among those targeted were Iranian Defense Minister Mohammad-Reza Ashtiani and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy.
