June 1 is International Children's Day. This year's Children's Day falls on a Saturday. Children across China have enjoyed all sorts of activities leading up to the big day. In Zhengzhou, central China's Henan Province, pupils at Weiwu Road No. 1 Primary School had fun at shows featuring different performances. A market was set up for children to taste food from across the world. Children also had the chance to try making dishes themselves. Other enjoyable events, like second-hand markets, sports and entertaining games, were held. Kindergartens and schools were full of laughter and joy.
