June 1 marks International Children's Day. Children in Gaza have been living in dire circumstances since the Palestine-Israel conflict began in October 2023, suffering from injuries, disease and malnutrition. Despite the challenges, international communities have dispatched aid and supplies to Gaza, and have called for an immediate ceasefire and protection for civilians in the region.
