Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed his confidence in the three China-proposed global initiatives in an interview ahead of his visit to China, saying he believes the initiatives will restore peace and prosperity in the world.

Sharif is set to visit China from June 4 to 8 at the invitation of Chinese Premier Li Qiang. Speaking highly of Pakistan-China relations, he told China Media Group that he looked forward to having in-depth discussions, promoting business-to-business dialogue and exchanges, and jointly bringing the development of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor to a new level.
