On May 26, the Israeli military conducted a nighttime air strike on the southern Gaza city of Rafah, hitting a refugee shelter and causing a fire that killed over 40 Palestinian civilians.

In an exclusive with CMG's Leaders Talk host Wang Guan, Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit notes that the Israeli reaction has gone beyond any norm of decency or international law, or international humanitarian law. He goes further to condemn Washington's perplexing attitude regarding Israel attacks, saying it should stop aiding and shielding Israel from world anger, to really push for cease fire and help alleviate the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
