Rare footage shows a Himalayan griffon rearing its chick at the Tuomuer Grand Canyon in Wensu County, China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The Himalayan griffon usually nests near cliffs, feeding on large carcasses and occasionally small animals. It's mainly distributed in the Tianshan Mountains, Kunlun Mountains, the Himalayas and the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau.
