When asked what they want to be in the future, most Sudanese children give answers like doctors, engineers and pilots. They aspire to become pilots so they can fly around the world; they want to be doctors so that they can treat their families and those who need help in the turmoil of war; and they dream of being engineers so they can rebuild their damaged homes. On International Children's Day, CGTN took to the streets of Sudan to ask children about their wishes on this special day and their expectations for the future. Thirteen-year-old Nasr al-Din Ibrahim Abdullah Mirghani told CGTN he hoped the war would end so everyone can return home safely.
