The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said on Wednesday that nine soldiers were injured in an explosion at its base in the south of the country on Tuesday.
"As a result of the explosion, two IDF soldiers were seriously injured, two soldiers were moderately injured and five other soldiers were slightly injured," the IDF said in a statement, adding that the incident is being investigated.
