Le Thanh Long named as Vietnamese deputy PM

The National Assembly (NA) of Vietnam on Thursday approved the appointment of Minister of Justice Le Thanh Long as deputy prime minister, Vietnam News Agency reported.
Long, born in 1963, has been serving as a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam in the 12th and 13th terms. He has been the minister of justice since April 2016.
