It's a custom to eat zongzi, a kind of glutinous rice dumplings wrapped in bamboo leaves and stuffed with various fillings, to mark the Duanwu Festival in China. Over the years, more and more flavors of zongzi have entered the market to meet people's diversifying tastes. Besides jujubes, beans, pork and eggs, new fillings such as cheese, XO sauce, and lotus seed paste have greatly enriched the taste of this traditional snack. They have become not only tastier, but also more nutritious and healthier.
