On April 22, the U.S. pointed its finger at some countries, such as China, Russia and Sudan, in its 2023 Country Reports on Human Rights Practices.

However, a 10-year U.S.-Israel Memorandum of Understanding signed in 2016 provides Israel with a total of $38 billion in U.S. military aid, while Palestinians in Gaza are suffering from a humanitarian catastrophe.

The American policy of targeting other countries on human rights issues stands in contrast to its own complicity in severe violations of human rights at home and abroad.
