The Israeli military assessed there were 20 to 30 fighters of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad and Hamas located in the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) school hit by an air strike in the early hours of the morning, a spokesperson said on Thursday.
Israeli military spokesperson Peter Lerner said many of the fighters had been killed and that he was unaware of civilian casualties from the strike.
