With the Dragon Boat Festival around the corner, people are busy making rice dumplings in Jinyuan District of Taiyuan, capital of north China's Shanxi Province. The rice dumpling, or zongzi, that they are making is known as "Jinci Mizong," a city-level intangible cultural heritage. The name Jinci comes from the 1,600-year-old Jinci Temple located in the district. It's one of Taiyuan's signature cultural relic sites.
