The 78th session of the UN General Assembly has unanimously adopted a resolution proposed by China to establish June 10 as the International Day for Dialogue among Civilizations. Xia Lu, a research fellow at the Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao Research Center under Renmin University of China, says it reflects the trend of respecting the civilizations of different nations and preserving the diversity of civilizations.
