South Korean military says DPRK sent trash balloons again

The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) sent balloons carrying trash to the Republic of Korea (ROK) again on Saturday, South Korea's military said, according to a Yonhap report.

Since last month, DPRK has floated hundreds of huge balloons, allegedly dumping manure, cigarette butts, scraps of cloth, waste batteries and even dirty diapers across the ROK.

DPRK has said its move was in retaliation for a propaganda campaign by ROK's activists, who regularly launch helium-filled balloons to drop anti-Pyongyang leaflets and USB sticks loaded with K-pop music videos and dramas.
