The International Union for the Conservation of Nature (ICUN) is one of the world's leading authorities on measures needed to protect the environment. On World Oceans Day, the IUCN's Raj Kumar praised the transformation of Yundang Lake in the Chinese city of Xiamen where pollution has been drastically reduced and local biodiversity protected. He also said the organization is ready and willing to support China in achieving its climate change goals.
