Chinese shuttlers finish Indonesia Open with four titles

Chinese players won four of all five events at the Indonesia Open in Jakarta on Sunday, bringing home the men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles and mixed doubles titles.

Shi Yuqi of China defeated Anders Antonsen of Denmark 21-9, 12-21, 21-14 in the men's singles final, winning his fourth title this season. He got revenge on the opponent for the loss at the Malaysia Open in January. It was Shi's fifth win over Antonsen out of eight matches between the two.

Chen Yufei won the women's singles championship for China with a 21-14, 14-21, 21-18 win over South Korea's An Se-young. It was her first singles trophy of the season after finishing as the runner-up at the India Open, Badminton Asia Championships, and Singapore Open.

Liang Weikeng and Wang Chang of China came back to beat Kai Wun and Man Wei Chong of Malaysia 19-21, 21-16, 21-12 in the men's doubles final, pocketing their third title after winning the Malaysia Open and the Asia Championships.

The mixed doubles final was between two Chinese pairs, Zheng Siwei and Huang Yaqiong, Jiang Zhenbang and Wei Yaxin. Jiang and Wei secured a quick win of 21-11, 21-14 in 32 minutes over Zheng and Huang, winning the first Super 1000 title in their career.

Chen Qingquan and Jia Yifan of China lost to Baek Ha-na and Lee So-hee of South Korea 17-21, 13-21 in the women's doubles final, failing to claim their third championship of the season.
