Gaza's already struggling healthcare system has been dealt another blow from Israel's recent attacks on the Nuseirat refugee camp. The Israeli raid on the crowded camp killed at least 274 people and injured nearly 700 others. The Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital is the only functioning medical facility in the central Gaza Strip, with just one generator working. The hospital is unable to get new generators or spare parts for repairs due to the continuous closure of land crossings. Casualties have been left lying on the floor after being briefly treated as the hospital has exceeded its maximum capacity. "We urge all countries, the international community, and international organizations to immediately intervene and save Gaza's healthcare system, as most hospitals in Gaza have already stopped functioning," said Khalil Al-Dakra, a spokesman for the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.
