Horse race held in SW China's Shangri-la to mark Dragon Boat Festival

A horse race is taking place in Shangri-la, the capital of Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in southwest China's Yunnan Province to celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival. The event this year is seeing a record number of horses – 292 in total. The teams come from different Chinese regions, like the provinces of Sichuan and Gansu and the autonomous regions of Xizang and Inner Mongolia. This festival will last for three days from June 10 to 12.
