A large part of the Teton Pass collapsed on June 8, leaving a chasm in the road that connects towns in Idaho to the popular tourist destination of Jackson, Wyoming. The road was closed when the section collapsed, following a mudslide a few miles away. A crack and depression in the road was noted last week after a motorcycle crash. It is unclear how long it will take to rebuild the road, which is highly used by people who work in Jackson but live in Idaho.
