To celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival, also known as Duanwu Festival, a vibrant children's modeling contest has been held in Kuqa City, Aksu Prefecture, in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Accompanied by lively and dynamic music, over 50 young contestants showcased their fashion flair in a variety of meticulously designed outfits at the renowned Qiuci Alley, named after the ancient name of Kuqa.

Now a popular cultural hotspot, Qiuci Alley is lined with traditional Uygur houses, each with lush green courtyards. The area is renowned for its unique ancient architecture and decorations. Visitors can explore the daily lives of the local residents, enjoy traditional Uygur cuisine, and immerse themselves in the rich cultural heritage the area offers, making it a perfect blend of historical charm and contemporary festivity.
