Guangdong official: Greater Bay Area contributes 1/9 of China's GDP

It's been five years since China published the Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The first five years show that a region with less than one percent of the nation's total land has contributed one ninth of the country's GDP.  Zhang Hu, executive deputy governor of Guangdong Province, said in a press conference on June 11 that the achievement demonstrated the advantages and vitality of "One Country, Two Systems".
