The 2024 BRICS Women's Leadership Forum is being held in Beijing. Representatives from BRICS countries attended the forum this year – themed "Value Diversity, Shared Prosperity."

At the opening ceremony, speakers touched upon topics such as supply chains, digital transformation, ESG, and cultural exchanges. Ren Hongbin, chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, highlighted the importance of empowering women from the BRICS countries. He said this forum is the platform for promoting women's development across many fields.

"We hope more and more outstanding women from BRICS countries contribute their wisdom and engage in the global supply chain, economic development and people-to-people exchanges," he added. 

Ren also introduced the Second China International Supply Chain Expo, and urged more women to join the grand event.
