As this year's Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF) is around the corner, a wealth of popular cinemas await movie fans, including Hongqiao Art Center, the Grand Theater, Cathay Theater, Huangpu Theater, Shanghai Film Art Center, SFC BOE-α Cinema, Wanping Theater, Majestic Theater, Lyceum Theater and Juce Shanghai Center Theater.

The cinemas, combined with the characteristics of each area, have also become unique cultural landmarks. SIFF has selected 10 characteristic cinemas for movie fans to explore and feel the charm of the "City of Film" together.
