A fleet of destroyers of the Chinese Navy recently staged around-the-clock combat exercises in the South China Sea.
The formation under the Southern Theater Command consisted of three Type 055 guided-missile destroyers and one Type 052C guided-missile destroyer. They trained on air-to-sea strikes, anti-submarine tasks, and air defense to evaluate the effectiveness of various combat tactics.
