With a heat wave spreading across China, the Yanhu salt lake in Yuncheng City, northern China's Shanxi Province, appears even more colorful. Experts say the high temperatures have led to an unusually fast growth of algae and artemia in the lake. The different types of algae at different densities reflect light differently, producing a beautiful multicolor image that looks spectacular from above.
