Wang Yi, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and director of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the CPC Central Committee, held a high-level dialogue cooperation mechanism meeting with Indonesia's Coordinator for Cooperation with China Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan in northeast China's Jilin Province on Thursday.

During the meeting, Wang said China is willing to make good use of the mechanism with the Indonesian side and continue deepening all-round strategic cooperation centered on building a China-Indonesia community with a shared future.

Wang said China stands ready to work with Indonesia to forge a model of major developing countries' relations with high-level strategic mutual trust, multi-field complementarities and all-round synergistic development.

He urged them to focus on high-level Belt and Road cooperation, expand collaboration in the key areas of the digital economy, green development and livelihood improvement, strengthen the synergy of development strategies and promote maritime cooperation.

Luhut expressed a willingness to promote the synergy of its Global Maritime Fulcrum vision and the Belt and Road Initiative and further strengthen maritime, fishery, healthcare, artificial intelligence, food security and green energy cooperation.
