Live: Black-necked cranes breed in Xainza County, China's Xizang Autonomous Region

A pair of black-necked crane couples are breeding in wetlands at an altitude of about 4,700 meters in Xainza County of Nagqu City, southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region. Black-necked cranes inhabit meadows, wetlands and lakes at an altitude of 2,500-5,000 meters. They mainly live in the highlands of China, India, Bhutan and Nepal. In China, the species is under first-class state protection.
