Qianhai is a zone that promotes cooperation between the Chinese mainland and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Currently, there are over 9,000 enterprises in Qianhai, with a total registered capital of $130 billion. Over 10,000 Hong Kong residents are employed and reside in Qianhai. Local authorities say 12 new measures have been announced recently to provide facilities for youth in Hong Kong and Macao to work and live in Qianhai.
