Lebanon's Hezbollah said on Thursday that it launched an attack with rockets and drones on six Israeli military sites in retaliation for an Israeli strike that killed a senior Hezbollah field commander.
Israel's army said that about 45 projectiles were fired from Lebanon at northern Israel on Thursday, amid an escalation of eight-month-long cross-border fighting between the two sides.
Two people were lightly injured by shrapnel, according to Israel's Magen David Adom rescue service.
