Construction of the Mozhai Wujiang River Bridge was completed on June 14 in southwest China's Chongqing. This marks the completion of the Pengshui-Youyang expressway in Chongqing, part of an expressway linking central China's Hunan Province with Chongqing. The 708-meter-long low-pylon cable-stayed bridge with Asia's tallest pier is expected to give a further boost to local tourism and the economy along the route.
