The European Commission has announced additional tariffs of up to 38.1 percent on Chinese-made electric vehicles. Simon Schutz, spokesperson for the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA), told CGTN that the German automobile industry is not in favor of these tariffs because they do not believe tariffs are a good measure to resolve this trade conflict.
