Several personnel from the Philippine Coast Guard vessel 9701 illegally intruded into China's Xianbin Jiao (Xianbin Reef) and conducted operations under water on June 4, according to video released by the China Coast Guard (CCG).

The CCG maintained constant surveillance throughout the incident, and law enforcement officers checked and handled the matter in accordance with law. China has indisputable sovereignty over Nansha Qundao (Nansha Islands) and the adjacent waters, including Xianbin Jiao, with solid historical and legal grounds.
