Located in the remote mountains of northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Qiongkushitai Village has preserved its traditional nomadic lifestyle and outstanding natural environment. In the Kazakh language, Qiongkushitai means "big village." Known for its beautiful landscape of lakes and mountains, its unique wooden buildings and the local people's ethnic customs, the village is proving immensely attractive to tourists.
