On June 15, an art exhibition featuring the works of Yue Zhenwen and Zhang Chi was inaugurated at the Shanghai Haipai Art Museum. This exhibition showcases 108 representative pieces from different periods by these two Haipai artists, who are also husband and wife. "Haipai" is a unique cultural phenomenon that originated in Shanghai, blending the traditional culture of southern China with modern industrial influences imported from the West after Shanghai became a major international trading port.
Notably, two-thirds of the displayed works are new creations, offering audiences a contemporary panorama of Chinese landscape painting. The exhibition will remain open to the public until July 7, providing an opportunity to experience the evolving artistry of these distinguished painters.
