1,200 people evacuated as wildfire spreads in California

At least 1,200 people were evacuated on June 15 as a wind-driven wildfire spread across thousands of acres in Los Angeles County. The blaze, named Post Fire, broke out on the afternoon of June 15 near the Interstate 5 freeway in Gorman, a community northwest of Los Angeles. As of June 16, the blaze had spread to about 12,265 acres and was two percent contained.
