Built in 1924, the lavish Blackstone Apartments in Shanghai is one of the oldest Baroque-style apartment buildings in the city.
The six-story structure features a symmetrical facade and is named for its use of British concrete and black stonework.
Today, the century-old building and its surrounding area have been transformed into "Blackstone Music Plus," a vibrant entertainment and cultural destination that includes bookstores, cafes, restaurants, bars, and music studios, attracting tourists and serving as a popular location for film and television productions.
